Collision @ UP Plasticon
Collision brings together artists and scientists to face one urgent problem: plastic pollution. It’s no longer just about trash in the ocean. Microplastics are now in our food, water, and even inside our bodies. While most people continue to look the other way, we’re losing coral reefs, marine life, and the balance of our ecosystems. This exhibit puts that reality in front of you.
This show brings together 21 artists working across different mediums—painting, sculpture, digital, interactive and mixed media -- and curated by Lara Latosa. Each one brings a unique perspective, but each one responds to the urgent issue of plastic pollution through their own creative lens.
